I took a random day trip out to hike around Amicalola Falls in northeast Georgia, Georgia's tallest waterfall. There were a LOT of stairs but it was really beautiful. On the way back I ran across the Kangaroo Conservation Center, the largest population of kangaroos outside of Australia. That was really cool, especially since I really like kangaroos. (They're my second favorite fuzzy animal after otters!) It was also totally random because they only do tours on certain days and you have to have a reservation. I happened to show up on the right day, 5 minutes before a tour group from an Alabama church was about to start their tour, and there was one spot open! Fate wanted me to see the kangaroos and I was happy to oblige.
