While my life was pretty steady, lots of my friends were drifting into different parts of life around this point: spouses, kids, etc. So big group outings and such were starting to dwindle. Luckily the Rossman was still up for travels, so we hit the open seas. This also was my first outing to try out my shiny new scuba license!
We were on Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas. We stopped in Grand Cayman, where I went scuba diving and Cozumel Mexico. This was my second cruise. My first was when I was young, so I don't remember it. But I learned that cruising isn't really my thing. Being so near the ocean but not being able to get in is a form of torture for me. It wasn't bad, but it's just not my thing.
On the way back, we spent the night in Orlando, crashing at my friend's place. Kyle worked for Universal Orlando at the time, so he took the day off the next day, got the uber-pass, and we did all of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure is ONE DAY. We rode every (good) ride, and skipped all the lines except for the Rockin' Rollercoaster, which was brand new. It was an excellent way to wrap up an excellent trip.
